It’s Valentines Day again,
To think another year has slipped by,
I think of you on this special day,
And wonder what your up to,
The thoughts in my head whirl,
Wondering if you’re thinking of me to,
Silently I count the minutes,
Until the moment arrives,
When you will call me or just simply come over,
Our laughter will ring through the night,
As we picnic on the beach,
We watch the sunset,
Holding hands,
Both lost in happy memories,
I smile and lean against you closing my eyes…
Hoping this day will last.
