My Worth Needs No Label... Poem by WIN VENTURA

My Worth Needs No Label...

Some chase Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and pride,
With luxury worn on every side.
They spend a fortune just to prove
A status only trends approve.

A Louis Vuitton bag carries all the same,
As one without a famous name.
A pair of Jimmy Choo shoes still walks the mile...
Not just the ones with a costly style.

A Chanel dress still covers, warm and true,
Whether stitched in gold or plain in blue.
Comfort never asks the price...
It simply fits and feels just right.

I don't need a label sewn..
To tell the world how much I've grown.
No famous brand upon my sleeve.
Can change the life I've come to live.

I carry bags that serve their part,
Not ones that try to buy a heart.
If I can wear it, walk with ease...
That's luxury enough for me.

My worth was never bought or sold,
Nor measured by silver or gold.
It lives within the life I've led...
The love I've shared, the tears I've shed.

Spend your money as you choose,
I'll never judge the path you use.
But peace of mind is wealth to me...
The richest brand I'll ever see.

For what I wear may catch your eye...
But never tells you who am I.
My confidence needs no display...

Because my worth...
Needs no label.
My way! ! !
