Myself And The Mana Tree Poem by Justin Gildow

Myself And The Mana Tree

Sitting across from the Mana Tree
I marvel at it
Some say it's the most magical
wonder in this world

Big and tall
It almost looks elegant
Perhaps even beautiful

It's covered with vines
And surrounded by flowers

I can't remember how it all
came down
Or how it all went down
Yet, as it's been said and
told
There were 2 adventurers
A boy and a girl
A hero and a heroine
They went on a journey
An adventure of a lifetime
And after so many trials
and tribulations
They finally won and triumphed
Defeating and overthrowing a man
by the name of Julius

The boy's long gone
While the girl has attached her
essence to the Mana Tree

The sun is in the blue sky
Shining down on me
Warming me
As I continue to have this
time to myself
This time of myself and the
Mana Tree
