Mystery Poem by Pietro Grossi

Mystery

She was the dream
I never caught.
'cause of my shyness,
Fate wanted so.

Curly brown hair
Her eyes: two stars
Bewitched me
Mermaid too far.

I could portray
Still now that bella,
But all I have
Is a name: Antonella.

And time went on
All on my own
Just with that ghost,
Secret dream lost.

Each time you fall
You have to rise
When nightmare was over
I met my wife.

Another dream
A future Lady
This time a truth
Our newborn baby.

And now she's four
My small great love:
She has something inside
That I can't realize

Just a few traits
Has of her father
All of her best
Comes from the mother.

But when she smiles
Here rings my bell
"What spell you hide
Misterious shell? "

Her mother's beauty
Has doughter bella,
But when she smiles
She's Antonella
