Naive Poem by Ellen frawley

Naive

I thought you loved me,
I thought you cared,
You didn’t though,
You laid me bare.

I trusted you,
I was young,
To naïve,
To young & stupid to see.

A guy in his twenty’s,
A young girl,
Some thing’s wrong here,
Some one should have thought.

But nobody guessed,
But nobody thought,
I was left all alone with him,
I had to play.

Now years later,
Now moved away,
The little girl inside cry’s,
But no one sees her pain.
