Nathvælvet - Poem by Sophus Niels Christen Claussen

Nathvælvet ligner en Tempelsal,
det himmelske Tivolis Festportal.
Man tror, der er Engles Lovsang i Tonen,
naar Blæsten blafrer i Jærnlysekronen.

Der gøgles med skiftende Forhæng og Lampe
for denne Klump Jord med dens Haandfuld Damp
Mod Morgenens Gys slaar jeg Øjnene i,
der findes ej Kærlighed, ikke Geni.
