Nature - Poem by Dennis Field

What do we see,
when we look around,
do we really see what is abound,
in our lives we look at things,
but do not see, we go to work,
on bus, train or car,
do we see the birds,
do we hear them sing,
do we see the flowers,
do we hear the wind in the trees,
or smell the fresh cut grass
most of this we miss,
we do not see,
we are so wrapped up in our little world,
we don't see the real world,
we need to stop and look,
for there is so much to be found,
stop for a few minutes a day,
the peace can be yours,
just stop and say,
this is my joy for today.
