Everything that is gifted with life will grow
It will fade and die unless we keep the flow
To provide its energy comes from the moon
To reach full growth otherwise it may die soon
From a cradle a mother nurses her child
unlike the animals grow in the forest wild
Birds build nests to lay eggs until hatched
unlike other creatures habit unmatched
Dewdrops before dawn let flowers bloom
even as the forest has so much room
From a root under the ground life spread
with the vines and bees in search of bread
the stars in the sky keeps its shape
everything otherwise wants to escape
Clouds move ceaselessly across the sky
so too the heart beats until we must die
