Neither Dead Nor Alive Poem by Agbola Oluseyi

Neither Dead Nor Alive

GENT
It's a sharp shocking surprise
How great men live as slave!
And all they need to rise,
Only nourishes their grave
What shall we then say?
Of wishful a potential king
Waiting for tomorrow to go a way
And of his good desires he do sing.

GURU
Such a man has never lived
That a decade after his demise can't remember.
And such can never die
That left a thing for generations in incubator.
Some never lived but die!
Some never die but lived!
And a living man pending actions,
Is neither dead nor alive.
