Never Forget Poem by Nirupa Narine

Never Forget

You are my teacher,
You are my preacher
But most importantly,
My friend.
In a nut shell that’s what you are,

You may be unfair at times,
But I guess that’s your job,
To teach me that I can’t get everything I want,
To teach me the patience of life…

I know what you are to me,
And I know it may appear as if I don’t know,
But believe me when I say ‘I love you’
I know I have a strange way of showing it,
But what would life be without “a few headaches”
You are very special to all of us,
So please never forget that.
