I'll never forgive myself,
for what I did to you,
and I would do anything in the world,
If I could make that up to you.
I know it won't change it,
but it would make you see,
That I know I was wrong and,
that wasn't really the real me.
The real me loves you with all my heart,
and the real me is the person you remember from the start.
I'll never let that person come out again,
I just want to be the real me again,
But the only way the real me can be happy like before,
Is to have the man and love of her life walk back through that door.
