Never Let Your Bridge Be Breached Poem by Temajung michael tanjang

Never Let Your Bridge Be Breached

I thought she was meek
I thought she was gentle
Then she took me as weak
Putting me in a bad fettle.

Casting at me with eyes boring,
But my stance was still
Realising i wasn't for the taking,
Her eyes became hard as steel.

She tried, but my heart she never did score,
She cried, but i tears i took for stone,
In deceit's realm, i told her to get mature
For she was like bingo and his bone.

Never take her softness as kindness,
Never take her beauty as a true heart.
For Eve's daughter is shameless
In in no time, will break your spirit and your heart.

Undernearth the beauty lies a monster
In place of a heart, resides granite.

Never let your bridge, be breached.
