Never Time Poem by C. Bake Baker

Never Time

The bruises on my heart and mind may never heal,
and the love that she told me once may have not been real
Diseased and unaware, seed was sown, tears were shed
Canopies on liar's fraud, guilt and pain and dread

Leave me open and abused, lest you leave me death
Destroyed on my brother's arms, a stranger to myself
Happiness is left wanting, passenger of crime
Slipping in and out of life, when there's never time
