New Age Fantasy Poem by Mary Champion

New Age Fantasy

The winter has been long, too long and cold
and we have hidden -
hibernated through the darkness.
Now we are bidden
to waken from our long sleep
freed from the harshness, of the famine.

Can you sense a lightening?
a quickening?
The life force flows with renewed vigour,
feel it enriching
your heart and soul
after the long sleep of the dreamtime
took such a toll.

In our new finery we emerge
from the crystal cave of refuge,
stretching our limbs
and our minds.
Reflect on the potential,
consider our designs.

What kind of world shall we build this time?
