Resounding cheers
And the vibrant sounds and sights
Greets the New Year

Anticipating
Coming of the New Year
People are cheering

Profiling with grace
Marching is the New Year
For everyone’s gaze

Blessed is the world with
Yet another New Year
On the face of earth

New Year begins
Another span of journey
Where hope and faith reigns

New Year brings dreams
Which may or may not come true
On life’s many streams

New Year comforts
All those living in despair
Giving them new starts

Spilling everywhere
Is bountiful of belief
In New Year’s glare

Optimism booms
As the New Year arrives
When confidence vrooms
