I met you on New Years Day
I was so afraid at first
And then we started talking
The more we talked
The more I felt comfortable
Then you put your hand in mine
And all my fears seem to disappear
The way you would slip you arm around me, while we were standing by the fire
I never had that happen before
Then we sat on the couch and talked
You held my hand
And the moment you grabbed my face and kissed me
I knew that I wanted you to be mine
The next day
You sat on the couch beside me
And never really left my side
And I sat with you in the chair
Oh I didn't want the day to end
I never felt what I felt being with you
Then it was time for me to leave
You walked me outside
Hugged and kissed me good-bye
We snapped for a little bit
Then we went to sleep
Woke up and snapped a few times
And then I snapped you once more, on my way to work
And then I was blocked
My feelings were hurt
I don't know what I did wrong
Were you scared?
Did I say something wrong?
I have thought about you all night
Wondering what I've done
I'm sorry if I made you feel any type of way
I was glad to have spent those 24 hours with you
And I'll forever cherish that
Thank you for showing me
That all men are not the same
Thank you for showing me respect.
