Night Note 61 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
My dear love I yearn for you
on this lonely night.
Not in sadness but with a
smile I feel and think of
your kind and everloving heart.
I just want to hold you near
smile big and proud knowing
that the one I love
is now and God willing forever in my arms.
You make me so very happy,
being apart is what makes
me so very sad when it happens.
When we come together
forever happy days will be here again.
I just wish that we could
talk while waiting for that point.
Please know though that I
am not pushing just voicing that
of which I am wishing.
I can't hold in my feelings
because I can't go on living
without you truly knowing
what's in my heart and always growing.
I love you dear and for me
it's always showing.
I pray your Sunday goes so well,
that you'll be thinking of mee too my dear.
I'll be by your side the whole time through,
hand in hand tightly holding you.
I wish to spend my life that way,
I know once we have talked and you've
seen it all you will know the man
I am is not really weak or very strong,
I just rise to the occasion when I can,
and for you I'll show my vulnerable side.
You are worth telling the whole truth,
and I will always give it have no doubt.
I love you babe my Angel and best friend true
feel all the love and warmth I send to you,
let it wrap you up so good and snug,
feel the strength and peace it holds inside.
I give you all and the best I can
because you are the greatest woman on this earth
and my only one.
