Night-Time

Night time
My weary body begs for rest
Yet I cannot find my eyelids heavy
Wanting to surrender to sleep
But why would I embrace
The nightmares that await me
When I can lie awake
Restless and drained
Ecstatic and tranquil
Lost within the visions of you
That I conjure in my mind
