No Body Tells Me Poem by Harold R Hunt Sr

No Body Tells Me

NOBODY TELLS ME
NOBODY tells me to take down my flag.
I will die to keep it flying high.
We don't tell them to come here.
They come with changes on their mind.
We would be gun down if we went there with telling them what to be done.
So nobody tells me to take it down.
Nobody tells me just what to eat.
Beacon and eggs are just the start.
I'll kill a pig for Sunday dinner O, what a joy.
That is because nobody tells me what to do.
