No Greater Love Poem by Karen Lee

No Greater Love

What shall I do that I may be save
How shall I live that I may gain eternal life
Must I love my brother as you have loved

To die for another is that love
To die for a brother is that love
To die for my love is that love

These things I must do for thee
In them you plant a seed
They sprout up in love
And branch out like a dove

The greatest gift of all,
It as been found in the blood
Solemn blood of saints and heroes
That I may live and give to another

Give me the grace that I might deliver
And offer myself for another
As you for me
I for them

Let me perfect this love
And lie down for a friend
