No Mister, Just Wolf Poem by Alfred Mukenya

No Mister, Just Wolf

Just wolf
Not mister wolf
Tall and lean
Wide shoulders
Coppery skin
Speaking of indian blood
That is my name
Just wolf

I aint a samaritan from jerusalem
Nor am I a going to jericho
I never trust coincidence
Am just a drifter passing through
Hell and damnation my destination
Inattention keeps my name innocent
No mister. Just wolf.
