No- One’s At The Door Poem by Silkina Mankotia

No- One’s At The Door

Rating: 0.5

Every day I feel all alone and scared
I wish there was someone who loved me and cared
Front of whom my thoughts would never be neglected
Someone who’ll make me feel accepted
This house hates me and asks me questions
This hatred I undergo results in frustration
They think I am happy and full of fun
But I don’t even feel the moon and the sun
The color on these walls is so noisy and loud
It injures my heart and makes me shout
I am sitting with my eyes open to adore
But it’s of no use,
No -one’s at the door
