For the soul there is neither birth nor death.
As a person discarding worn-out clothes,
Puts on new ones, so an embodied soul,
Casting off old bodies,
Enters in to others which are new.- Srimadbhagavad Geeta.
knowing it no one should grieve.
Death is sure of him/her who is born,
And rebirth is assured of him/her who is dead.
Knowing it no one should grieve over the inevitable.
The thing which exists at the beginning
And at the end, also exists in the midstate
And that is true.
Knowing it no one should grieve.
No grieve because soul is uncleavable, incombustible
and neither can be wetted not dried.
Soul is eternal, all-pervading, stable, constant
And everlasting.
This body is unreal and has no existence
And the real never ceases to be. - Geeta
