No Time For Fools

The wise conform to God and live
But fools, will disobey
Wisdom drinks truth God’s Lamb will give
Whilst folly turns away

Wisdom can see Salvation’s grace
Can hear atonement’s voice
Yet fools will turn from God their face
While darkness is their choice

Why play the clown and act the fool?
Why reap eternal wrath?
Dig up Salvation’s precious jewel
Found down Redemption’s path

Did Christ not come to open eyes?
Set prisoners free from jail?
Consider now a fool’s demise
How swift in life they fail?

There’s no more time the fool to play
Instead we should be wise
Accept God’s Son as Lord today
Without; a church disguise

Without religious pomp and airs
Tradition’s archaic rules
For though God’s rain comes down on tares
There’ll be no life for fools

God’s judgement day draws ever nigh
The bride! He’ll take in hand
Yet leave behind each fool to die
Who’ve failed to understand

Refuse the devil and his lies
Seek Jesus’ warm embrace
Allow God’s word now make you wise
And find in hell no place.
