No Time For Me Poem by Chauntelle Adeyeye

No Time For Me

You're always looking to me for answers,
I'm tired of being everything for everyone.
You're exhausting my inner peace
I'm overwhelmed by other's insanity
I need help is all I hear from you,
Who is there for me to depend on?

Carrying all this weight of your issues and mines on my back
Weighing me down or throwing me off my track
going through the motions because of this endless cycle
eat, work, hustle, and grind is the daily ritual
These hours, day, and years go by without me even batting my eye
Will there ever be time for me?
