Noone But You Poem by Simon Olafsson

Noone But You

There's only so much in life that we are able to change and control.
Different paths will always be unlocked by the choices you make today or tomorrow.

It's one thing to choose to be brave, confident and fearless in whatever you make life to be from now.
It's another thing to have everything settled before you by what other people has done to you in the past.

Life will always pass through you and grace you with joy, wounds, hurt and hope.

Joy by the memories that has made you the person you are today and the things you'll do for others.

Wounds from people that you hold dearly, those people no one would blame you to hate but will always love.

Hurt from the faith you layed to never be betrayed and from the love that felt like everything and ended in nothing.

Hope when you had nothing but ended up with everything.

But what does it all matter in the end anyway?
How come some things blossom without water nor warmth while other dies?

How come people who grew up with water and warmth ends up destroying others?

How come people who grew up with neither of those ends up saving others?

Everyone has a past. Not everyone will have today or tomorrow.
Don't let someone else open the doors in your life or let them decide whether your dream will be your reality.

Don't let the hills overshadow your destination. Get to the top and look over the past that you've overcome.
Every breath is worth taking as long as you're walking towards something.
The past was meant to happen, the rest is up to you.
