Norma Poem by Jon Ojala

To Norma,
whose smile upon waking in the morning
shows the depth of your love for me,
even after almost four decades together.
To Norma,
whose kindness and compassion are limitless,
beyond my capacity to to measure or even comprehend.
To Norma,
mother of our three children,
loving and accepting them without hesitation or reserve,
nurturing them without a single thought of self.
To Norma,
who has brought me to the point
where I can no longer tell
where I end and you begin.
To Norma.
