Long ago, with mighty sound,
Earth's giants crashed all around.
Plates pushed hard, a mountain grew,
Norway's spine, strong and new.
Then time marched on, a gentle hand,
Wore mighty peaks across the land.
Made them sharp, and carved them deep,
Secrets ancient, mountains keep.
Ice came down, a frozen tide,
Through valleys wide, that ice did glide.
Fjords it made, long and blue,
A rugged coast, for me and you.
The ocean's breath, a salty spray,
Shapes the land, come what may.
Norway's beauty, rough and grand,
Made by nature's mighty hand.
