Today my love I think about you
I feel you in the depths of my heart
with the fierce intensity of the wind on a stormy day
With the deepness of a raw wound
With the sadness of an unrecoverable loss
With the nostalgy and daydreaming of playful days
Where the passing of time was just an illusion
We were so in love, infatuated even,
we were so delightfully naïve
Today my love I miss you fiercely, achingly, desolately
May I always keep this pain in memory
never to forget how much I loved
If loving like this is something I may never feel again
