Not Finished Poem by Spanner Thegob

Not Finished

Each day, I wake up to try again.
Waking takes effort
Rising, takes courage.
Wake with the memory of a dream [She danced with joy]
The dream of dancing to a memory [I dance with sadness]
The dream of dancing with a memory [I danced alone]
The dream of you
I speak,
But there is no one here to listen
The air is heavy, it's hard to breathe.
The weight of loss Crushes the spirit.
Sorrow crushes the soul.
This life of hurt will bruise a fragile heart
And pain will burn unto a soul
A tattered book to tell a story
