Poet's Notes about The Poem

These are the kind of things that can happen to anybody from time to time. But when they do, we can feel foolish, get frustrated and upset. However, reflecting back, we can come to realise that they are also learning experiences. The kindness and thoughtfulness of other people are brought to our awareness and stays with us in grateful appreciation.
