Nothing Is Ever Perfect Poem by Anthony Speranza

Nothing Is Ever Perfect

NOTHING IS EVER PERFECT

I bring plenty of food in the house
That feeds everyone's mouths
There was always love in this house
One thing with our children we were always proud
In life, there is never a perfect system
Sometimes you have to depend on your wisdom
Some people say my children are not beautiful on the outside
But one thing I know I won't have my children roll up and hide
My children's hearts are filled with love
They will always forgive and go beyond
My children will listen to other people's problems
And try to help end their squabbles
Remember nothing is ever perfect
All you can do is try to reconnect
We all have our faults
And in the end, you may have good or bad results
Sometimes nothing is ever perfect
And it just turns into a wreck
Some people would want to help
While others might just want to yell
Just remember nothing is ever perfect
In your daily routine
