Nothing To Do Poem by thomas skypembrook

Nothing To Do

words are not necessary
with mind in nothingness profound
but you see through it
keep to nothing
see the ground
be firmly settled but without effort
nothing to be found
if you are not anchored, then let's put the mind on
the one point of aikido
takuan says put the mind nowhere
If one thinks, he will be taken by his thoughts. Because this is so, leave aside thoughts and discrimination, throw the mind away from the entire body, do not stop it here and there, and when it does visit these various places, it will realize function and act without error. Putting the mind in one place is called falling into onesidedness.
so if you understand it's good
just don't let anything be misunderstood
the mind shouldn't be confused
use the mind but not use the mind
that's how it is.
everything is a matter of subtlety.
let morihei's aikido and the universe teach you.
things come and go
nothing fast or slow.
show your methods
but there is no methods to get there
it's just the mind goes to states without being concerned.
it's your lair
be in the place of powers
nothing to do
that's all there is.
