Notion Poem by Richard Phipps

The waves from every ocean,
the boughs from every tree,
the sighs from every notion,
cannot take your thoughts from me.

Will never take for granted,
all you meant to me.
Cannot lose the feeling,
your loving left for me.

The days we spent together,
the thoughts that set us free,
our lives lived for each other,
will forever stay with me.

Will never lose, not ever,
the life you left for me.
Will never let the day arrive,
that takes you away from me.

The buds of every garden,
the depth of every sea,
the cries of every emotion,
cannot take your heart from me.
