Right now
Everything feels new.
My life has changed
And so have my feelings for you.

The past
Is only a tiny piece
Of my soul’s puzzle.
Meaningless.

The present
Seems completely different.
It fills me inside
So intensely.

Today
I started living.
The first day of my new life
I started breathing.

I fill my lungs with air
That smells like beautiful roses to me.
I look at the place I am standing in
And take in all the wonderful colors.

Colors, scents,
Touches, movements,
Hearing, breathing,
My heart beating.
All new.
And so are my feelings for you.
