O Love — Lead Me Home Poem by Mystic Qalandar

O Love — Lead Me Home

O Love, O Love, You hold me fast;
You draw me far away from me.
I cannot stem Your mighty tide,
nor withstand the cold, relentless sea.

Your light shines—I perceive it
beyond the hills and whispering pines;
a sacred flame burns there for me,
a light I know is lit for me.

O Love, I have You close, my Love;
no separation can come near.
The Mountain of Light shines within—
You are here, and ever near.

O Love, stay with me;
share with me Your secrets
in a home—Your Home.

It is Your voice
that calls Your Name
upon my tongue.

Once, I thought I had found my home
when, in the mist of illusion, I said,
"Come, our nest is newly made."

But now I know:
no nest can hold You,
no place can contain You.

So cross the tossing foam
and lead me home.

O Love, hold me
in a timeless embrace.

My mind taunts me with the past;
its grip grows ever stronger.
Hold me fast, hold me fast.

It draws me toward old chambers
where memory dresses itself as truth,
where yesterday's vows
still whisper in the dark.

But I will not follow
where illusion calls me.

I will remain within Your embrace.

O Love, I lean on You;
I hide within Your eyes.

Only You, in Your vastness,
beyond the contours of earth and sky,
are present here and everywhere.

And I have come to see
the radiance of Your Transcendent Being—
beyond every form,
yet nearer than my own jugular vein.

My Love, You are peace—
my essence, peace.

Let these dreams and terrors cease.

Who spoke of death?
Who spoke of separation?

You are here.
You have always been here.

And where could I go
that is beyond You?

O Love, now lead me home—
not to a place I have never known,
but to the Home that was always here,
where seeker and sought are one,
where the journey ends
in the heart of Your eternal embrace.

Let every veil fall silent;
let every wandering thought dissolve.
Let me rest in the Light
that neither comes nor goes.

For I am not leaving You,
nor are You calling me away.

You are drawing me inward—
from myself to You,
from illusion into Truth,
from longing into Presence.

O Love, hold me forever—
until there is no "me" to hold,
no distance left to cross,
no shore beyond Your shore.

Then let the last word upon my tongue
be Your Name;
let the last breath within my breast
be Your breath;
and let the last home I know
be You.

O Love, O Love—
You have led me home.

Not to a place,
not to a shore,
not even to another world—

but to the Home
that was never absent.

And here I remain,
not as one who possesses You,
but as Your transcendent shade—
a trace of Your Light,
resting forever
in the radiance of Your Presence.
