O my love! I wish to walk a mile with you
into the horizon where the sun spreads his golden hue
where none be there under the canopy of the vast blue
to be jealous of our love when we fall into other's arms and dream
until the moon comes along with a shower of her sultry beam
and glints upon the tapestry of love that we together seam
we'll wait until a patch of the Autumn cloud hides the moon
then and there under the night's shade let our passion burn
and melt us together like ice in the body's fiery dungeon
there none but the tipsy wind'll fan our lust with a waft of wild jasmine
and invite crickets to come to blow their loud horns tearing
the heart of the night rousing us from our clasp into the new morning
O love! I'll cherish the night until I move on this sprawling earth
and feel thy manly vigour until my heart pumps her last breath.
