Rainbow sunset
Lowers itself upon the stillness
Of ocean deep
Purple hued sky
Showing barely a cloud
Deepening as it extends
Toward distant horizon
Orange bauble of light
Sends rays bouncing
Off breaking waves
Of ebbing tide
While wind kissed
Rippled sands
Wrap themselves lazily
Around imperfect seashells
Playing outdated renditions
Of ocean's song
