Ode To Coronavirus Poem by Farooq Kuchay

Ode To Coronavirus

Murderous family of unknown origin.
Blindly punishing mankind for ugly sin.
Young and old shaking in fear.
Finding none else close and near.

You restricted everyone in the room.
And lillies and daffodils forget to bloom.
The earth engulfs the faces innocent.
For you spread an unpleasant scent.

Rich and poor standing in the same queue.
Since ages they have been friends true.
You have been callous murderer of humanity.
How long will you play dramatic show of insanity?

Mortals are we and so are you.
Now, you can live for days two.
You terrorised all men and women.
Still, the world will rise up again.

We have not given up in despair.
For your end is also waiting somewhere.
O' Master, have your mercy upon your slaves!
For the mankind has fed up with cruel waves.
