Ode To Joy Poem by Antony Glaser

Ode To Joy

Children of an impossible cause
crave ease
They watch the ripening fruit
and count the perfunctory footfall
Mists hold a certain allure
rushing thoughts of mortality
But frosted skies
like cold steel
makes ice shatter
Misty dreams
charade the choke of autumnal smoke
