Odium Mortify
I fell so hard the earth seemed to shake
The pain seemed to radiate like the rays of the sun
For a moment my mind was totally numb
My body locked anticipating the agony to come
I welcome the pain for it's nothing compared to the shame
The scarlet letter I wear day to day
Is a humble reminder things will never change
So i'll take the pain again and again just so the shame
Stays within.
