Far beyond
The same old story

I was wondering
In a puzzle
Of understanding

When my memory
Forgot
What it was thinking

So I never told you
That I loved you
When you thought I didn't

In the end
It began
To begin

That it was over
Though I thought
It was starting

So when you surprised me
With your invitation
To tomorrow

I was absent
Because I was living
In yesterday

But if you think
I'm not thinking
You're not thinking

Because I could never forget
What I forgot
When I forgot

So I'm dreaming about you
Awake
With sleepiness

Of a nightmare
In a daydream
