Of Life & Dreams.... Poem by Pauline Raina

I was listening to one of my favorite Yanni's song 'One mans dream' when I wrote this piece.....

Sitting here at my computer,

Listening to Yanni play his tune,

I close my eyes and wonder,

As I’m soon transported too,



The scene that engulfs me

Is of me sitting alone on the beach

And listening to the waves that lash

As if to me to teach.



That life’s like this vast ocean,

Peaceful and turbulent at times,

But do we get tossed over

Or do we break through and rise!



And as the tune I’m listening to

Comes to an end,

I realize that life’s what I make it,

Daring me to dream and take a stand.
