Oh! Eze Ndigbo In Africa Poem by Emeka GOC

Oh! Eze Ndigbo In Africa

Oh Africa
What are you all like the crabs packed in a basket?
Alive and active, envy kept you like a Cottage in a casket
Why do you stop the people's efforts the escape
Why is your love enslavers still in shape?
Is it not time for self-examination, questioning yourselves

Why target your brothers, turn to yourselves
Why push you brothers into a raging waters
Just as the slave murderers did in the oceans of waters
When will you turn to keepers of your brothers?

Oh Eze ndi Igbo in Africa
You have tasted the taste of Africa
You have triumphed in Europe,
Prospered in Americas
Reigned in abundance in Asia
Longed for and sorted after by nations

Eze Ndi-Igbo have been courted by many countries and nations
For your contributions and taxes and community building
You have been accepted honoured with great repute
His words are infallible always true and indeed repute) d
A prophet is not without honour except among his people
In his continent, country, among his relatives in his own Africa
