Oh! Gaza! Poem by Mystic Qalandar

Oh! Gaza!

Oh! Gaza!
Oh! Bloodshed!
Oh! Genocide!
Oh! The silence of the nations of the world!
Oh! The indifference and disrespect of the Arabs!
Oh! The rain of explosives pouring over neighborhoods!
Oh! The screams of children, the sighs of mothers!
Oh! The sky of oppression bursting over the heads of the oppressed!

How long will Gaza writhe in pain?
How long will it write books of sorrow?
When will the hands of the oppressor be broken?
When will justice awaken from its slumber?
When will the winds of Jerusalem
Bring a message of peace?

When will the sleep of children at night
Be freed from the fear of nightmares?
When will the light of day
Bring hope for bread and tranquility?
When will the call to prayer
Not just echo,
But herald the promise of life?

We do not want charity—
We want
The fruits of our labor,
Our dignity,
Our autonomy,
Our land,
Our freedom.

We are the people
Whose blood has filled the pen of history,
Whose prayers have made the heavens weep,
Whose hopes
Have kept lamps burning even beneath the rubble.

Gaza is not just a city—
It is the name of patience,
It is the symbol of resilience,
It is proof that oppression does not triumph,
And that even unarmed hands
Can plant the flag of truth
In the heart of the earth.

Oh! The silence over the world's ears!
Oh! The walls of numb consciences!
When will you listen?
When will you bow?
Otherwise, history will write you too
In the line of oppressors.

Oh! Gaza!
But remember—
These sighs will one day
Become the call to victory,
And that day is not far
When the children of Gaza
Will play in fields of peace,
And mothers
Will buy fragrance, not shrouds.
