Oh, I love to see a rainbow
When I wake in morning bright
Just to see the shining colors
Makes me think the world's alright

Oh, I love to see a rainbow
With its archway hanging ‘ore
While I walk along a pathway
That I've walked in days of yore

Oh, I love to see a rainbow
How it cheers my inner soul
When I feel a mood quite lonely
And my heart feels icy cold

Oh, I love to see a rainbow
Upon a day in spring
When the earth has started growing
And there's green in everything

Oh, I love to see a rainbow
On a sunny summer day
A day that's made for splashing
In the puddles ‘long the way

Oh, I love to see a rainbow
And I know why it is there
To show God keeps his promise
And I am in His care
