Oh No Replies The Knight



Oh no,
replies the knight
my horse is too old
too exhausted
by the fight
it fell
onto the ground
and in its falling
I found
my true calling
which is peace
so farewell
old battleground
these haunts
I need not hound
unless and until
I feel ready
to voice my thoughts aloud

I am proud
for having served
with you
