Old Love - Poem by Dennis Field

Once there was us two,
now there is just me,
the hurt is leaving,
so is the pain
there is nothing to say,
and nothing to gain,
only to look forward,
not to look back again,
so farewell my old love,
I hope you are fine,
so you find your true love,
that I thought was mine.
