Old Thoughts Poem by Mary Champion

1.

I would not want to wear this precious jewel to do the chores.
I would not dare to wear this shining gem where are no laws.
I would not want to risk defiling this.
I will not imperil my dream of perfect bliss.

2.

Them that have ears, let them hear!
Them that have eyes, be the seer!
Them that know Truth - let them speak!
Them that be strong - shield the weak!

Confuse Us - He Say:
At heart of every beautiful pearl is nothing but a piece of true grit.

Our heart belongs in a singular world,
Where HE can mean only one man.
But our minds have divided the world into parts
And that's where our troubles began.
