On My Birthday Poem by P M MANI

On My Birthday

Your magnanimity is so great
That you have taken pleasure
'To send me 'Greetings'
On my birth date.
Oh, somewhere in the past
I had lost that date.
Into oblivion- long ago.
What use could it be
For an unwanted life like mine?
Not a day passes without crises,
Not a day passes without curses
For being born a wretched.
And at this juncture
My deep reverence to you
Increases if you could
Accept my Dismal Thanks.
